KISSES OF DEATH IN THE GRADUATE SCHOOL APPLICATION PROCESS

This short paper provides examples of Kisses of Death or "aberrant types of information that cause graduate admissions committees to reject otherwise strong applicants."  The paper discusses how these topics, which students may assume are beneficial or demonstrate positive openness, actually may hurt your chances of being accepted into a graduate program.  This is an important read for anyone in process of starting their graduate applications.
